A Brief History of How the Taskforce Was Organized
The first meeting of the Taskforce took place on April 30, 2015 at the offices of the Massachusetts Children’s Trust, 55 Court Street Boston, MA, and the group has met monthly since that time. Five Committees were formed to author the major areas of the eventual report and an individual Chairperson was designated for each. These subcommittees set their own agendas and met at their own discretion as they produced and refined the sections on their assigned topics. The Committee Chairs also met monthly with the Co-Chairs of the Task Force – again at the Children’s Trust – since that time.
